From typical German bread rolls or pastries to cakes in different sizes and different ingredients. The local population love the art of German bakery and more and more tourists are making it their destination.
The situation of the bakery with its big cafeteria right in the middle of the island makes it the perfect place for a meal during an excursion, or to buy some food for the day. During the morning you will find a lot of people having breakfast in El Pastelito and around midday the well prepared filled bread rolls or pastries such as āBerlinerā or āRaisin snailsā are very popular. Throughout the years they have introduced typical pastries of the island and now you can find in El Pastelito a broad mixture of delicious bakery products.
One of the most popular products in the shop are the small cakes that people like for their afternoon tea break. You find them with fruits, cheese, chocolate or other specialties and these small cakes are a real temptation to try and enjoy. The good reputation of the cakes is the reason why so many families order big cakes in El Pastelito for weddings, birthdays or other special occasions. Matthias and Sindy estimate that around 70 per cent of their clients are local Spanish people.
